Iroko tree is native to Africa and it is also known as Kambala. Iroko is a exotic tree that grows in African rainforests. It is called as African Teak, although it is inconnected to teak family. There are not any plantation species of Iroko tree, so all of them are naturally grown. Iroko can grow to 130 meters and to minimum 1.5 meters in diameter, maximum 4.0 meters in diameter. It is very durable after machining. Cracking and disformation rarely occurs if dehumidification is not properly done. Both Solid and Finger jointed Iroko panels are suitable for CNC machining.
